Well by the time you are reading this I am hopefully enjoying the sunshine in Italy – I know isn’t it awful when people have to tell you they are on holiday when you are so busy at home and work, but at least I remembered to do this before I went, well hopefully I did!
Disability Pride is drawing nearer, and below are just a few ways our members and member groups have got involved so far:
Get on board with Martin and his boma for his cycle challenge
Last week Martin completed his cycle challenge. At Disability Pride on the day, you can see footage of Martin’s journey and his boma which has taken Martin on many adventures.
Black Dog Music Project and Mind the Gap
Come along on the day and hit the high notes, low notes and rock the city with The Black Dog Music Project http://www.theblackdogmusicproject.co.uk/ and Mind the Gap (https://mindthegapmusic.org.uk/) as well as many other local performers.
If poetry is your thing then join Jonathan Toye, a very colourful character who runs the West Norfolk Disability Information Service in Kings Lynn https://www.wndis.org.uk/
Even more Groups!

And last, but as they say by no means least –thank you to all our members and everyone who has been involved in the planning group, have circulated and distributed flyers, shared our posts on Social Media and have given their time to hopefully making it an event to remember.
