A unique and innovate therapeutic project established in 2006.
Strong Roots combines psychological therapy with being in a garden setting.
Lucy Scurfield, the co-ordinator, is an integrative therapist and counsellor, accredited through the process of the Independent Practitioners Network (www.ipn.org) and registered with the United Kingdom Council of Psychotherapy.
Please get in touch if you think sessions at Strong Roots may help you. You really can relax and be yourself in this calm, no-pressure setting. You don’t have to know anything abut gardening. The charge is flexible and decided on an individual basis.
“I find small rooms agoraphobic but I feel more open in an outside space. I find it easier to talk because it is peaceful but not compulsory silent. – a beneficiary
