Info and Advice

These pages provide you with information and advice on benefits, advocacy, and living your living your life independently. If you need specialised advocacy support please contact us. We have produced a leaflet called Information, Advice and Advocacy Services which you can download here (see list on the right) for further information about the support we can provide.

Our office hours are 8:30 to 4:30.  Please note that we do not have a drop-in service at our office in Framingham Pigot.  We run information and advice sessions around Norfolk.  Please call our office on 01508 491210 to make an appointment.

The following sessions are appointment only, so please contact the office to enquire about an appointment:

  • MONDAY:  Norwich St Stephens Gate Medical Practice – 10:00 to 3:00
  • TUESDAY: Norwich City Hall : 10:00 to 3:00
  • TUESDAY: Framingham Pigot (Equal Lives Main Office): 10:00 to 3:30 (the first 2 Tuesdays in the month)
  • TUESDAY: Norwich, The Forum, Library Advice Hub: 10:00 to 4:00 (the last 2 Tuesdays in the month)
  • WEDNESDAY: Thetford Job Centre: 10:15 to 3:00
  • WEDNESDAY: Kings Lynn – Headway – 10:30 to 3:00 (once a month on Wednesday)
  • THURSDAY:  Aylsham – Jubilee Centre – 10:00 to 3:00
  • THURSDAY: Wymondham – Fosters Solicitors – 10:00 to 4:00 (Fortnightly)
  • THURSDAY: Framingham Pigot (Equal Lives Main Office) – 10:30 – 12:30
  • FRIDAY: Sheringham – YESU Centre –  1:00 to 2:30

These sessions will provide support (or refer you to other members of our team to provide support) with:

  • Finding information to help you make decisions
  • Making sure your views are listened to at meetings or appointments
  • Benefits issues and advice
  • Making a complaint
  • Getting access to the services you need
