The Life & Times of George Saunders “Dogged Campaigner for Access Rights“
The EDP has today published a glowing tribute to highlight George’s work over the years to raise awareness of accessibility issues and to improve things for people with limited mobility in Norfolk.
“George has been described as a dogged campaigner for access rights – helping make Norfolk more accessible to folk with limited mobility. He’s also been called intrepid – getting out and about and striving to enjoy the freedom of movement most of us take for granted.”
Not just an advocate for disability rights, but first and foremost a man with many skills and experiences of living and working in the Uk and abroad, all of which helped to make him the “mild-mannered” but “determined” man we remember
